Ben Coates is back to show us the Trek TTX 9.9 SSL, the time trialing bike of choice for Team Astana. Here we have Lance Armstrong’s TTX geared up with SRAM Red components, including a brand new to competition SRAM return shifting R2 shifter. The Tour of California will be it’s debut, also new to the Astana gear truck is the new Aeolus 9.0 wheelset, soon to be available as a set, the team will be riding new new wheel in the front.

Put some shoes on this guy PLEASE! I bet he can hang upside down from a tree branch with those toes. Does he think he looks really cool with dumpy jeans and bare feet? Next time just skip the “wanna be a hippy” look and at least put on some footwear!

Someone please get a real mech to explain the updates to these bikes. Ben Coates is a turd. He sounds like the guys that work at Performance. “This bike is the best fastest”
Just my opinion, but I work with some talented youths that have a better understanding of what the teams need in a liaison and Trek needs to replace this guy ASAP.
Next he’ll be saying things like.. this bike is the best ’cause it’s wicked awesome.
