Clipless pedals sparked the move away from cycling shoes with wood-and-leather soles toward advanced plastics and carbon composites, materials which have since been applied to almost every aspect of bicycle design, especially frames and forks.

LOOK’s other carbon masterpiece, the 496 Athena (and all of its predecessors) is light years ahead of everything else in the industry with its full monobloc construction and innovative, aerodynamic fork profile.
