The Mortirolo is like all Wilier Triestina bikes — exceptional quality and great looks. This could be your very first all-carbon bike, or the one you get for its more relaxed and comfortable ride.
WILIER TRIESTINA – LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE
The lightweight and smooth Mortirolo was our best selling model in 2007, because of its combination of ride quality, graphic design and affordability. We know how to make the world’s best performing bikes that spare no material and fabrication costs, which is exactly what enables us to make the best performing mid-range models, like our Mortirolo, at an attractive price. Have a look at other bikes with a similar price tag, and you’ll see that the quality and finish of the Mortirolo are unique.
HEART OF A CHAMPION
The Mortirolo’s geometry is similar to that of higher end Wilier Triestina models, so it will handle much like the bikes ridden by the world’s top riders. Wilier has invested heavily in the research and production of some of the fastest and best handling bikes on the Pro Tour. While those bikes are winning Europe’s most prestigious races, the Mortirolo caters to recreational riders and weekend warriors, with a more relaxed feel due to the frame’s higher ratio of flexible to stiffer carbon fiber. Ask a Wilier Triestina owner about ride quality – they’ll tell you how smooth and responsive a Wilier is, from our highest end Cento, to the pro’s workhorse Le Roi, to the entry level racer we’ve named after historic Tour de France climb, the Izoard, to our carbon model for everyone – the Mortirolo.
HISTORY & HERITAGE
Every owner of a Wilier Triestina bike can be proud that their steed has a bloodline dating back over one hundred years, and a racing heritage that is unrivaled in the history of competitive cycling. And in case you didn’t know, the Mortirolo is also named after a historic climb, but this one looms in the Italian Alps. Some of the best professional riders consider the Mortirolo one of cycling’s all-time toughest climbs. Now that’s a great association for you and your bike to have with the world of cycling…

2008 MODELS
The Mortirolo is available in black with red-white highlights and “12k” carbon weave, or in our stunning white. The monocoque carbon frame is manufactured to our exacting standards with the highest quality materials available. The Mortirolo comes in 6 sizes: XS-S-M-L-XL-XXL. As with all Wilier Triestina bikes, you can take pride in the design, workmanship and heritage of your Mortirolo, and feel great looking great on a sweet Italian ride.
ABOUT WILIER TRIESTINA USA
Wilier Triestina USA is a partnership between Wilier Triestina of Rossano Veneto (near Bassano del Grappa), Italy, and their US importer, Velo Imports, which began distributing the brand in 1999. Like a true Italian business, “Wilier USA” is owned and run by father and son, Angelo and Gianmarco Cilli, themselves Italians. Over the past nine years, Angelo and Gianmarco have sought out and established relationships with elite bicycle retail stores across North America, which have become authorized Wilier dealers. Most years, the Cillis and staff accompany many of their dealers on a trip to Italy for a tour of the Wilier Triestina offices and factory in Rossano, as well as some of the best riding in the world, including many nearby climbs often featured in the Giro d’Italia. Wilier Triestina is the proud sponsor of the Lampre Pro Tour team of Damiano Cunego and Alessandro Ballan. For more information, visit www.wilier-usa.com .

I have one of these and I’m biased, but it is a really good bike and very cost effective. To non cycling folk it looks like it cost a million dollars with the weave of the carbon on display and red Fulcrum 7s. Weighs in at 18.9lbs with Campagnolo Veloce kit, and it is amazingly stiff. Every pedal stroke is transferred into speed, and the gears work like clockwork. I didn’t even need to change the saddle, just reverse the stem to raise the bars, and I was done. If you live in an area with bad roads this is probably not the bike for you!
