Tour de France 2009 - Stage 21 Final Results - Alberto Contador Wins his Second Tour de France, Cavendish Crushes the Sprint to get his Sixth Stage Win

Astana’s Alberto Contador of Spain picked up his second Tour de France win today as Mark Cavendish the Brit from Team Columbia - HTC crushed the sprint to win his 6th stage of the tour.

Lance Armstrong who announced he will be riding for new American team, RadioShack next year finished on the podium as well in third place.

Tour de France 2009 - Stage 19 Results - Cavendish wins his 5th Stage, Contador remains in Yellow

Mark Cavendish of Team Highroad - HTC sprinted to his fifth stage win at this years tour, edging out Thor Hushovd and Gerald Ciolek. This stage win breaks the British record of 8 total tour stage wins, with Cavendish’s ninth career win.

Alberto Contador remains in the Maillot Jaune leading into the mountain top finish at Mont Ventoux.

Tour de France 2009 - Stage 11 Results - Cavendish wins sprint to make it four!

Mark Cavendish strengthened his grip on the Tour de France sprints when he won the 11th stage on Wednesday to equal Barry Hoban’s British record of eight victories in the world’s greatest race.

The Isle of Man rider outsprinted American Tyler Farrar and Yauheni Hutarovich of Belarus to win his fourth stage at this years tour.

Rinaldo Nocentini remains in yellow, 6 seconds ahead of Alberto Contador and 8 seconds ahead of Lance Armstrong.
