The Nation’s Captial Becomes Home To America’s First State-of-the Art Cycling Facility for the Recreational and Hard Core Cyclist

CycleLife USA To Set The Gold Standard For Customer Service, Training and Care For One of America’s Oldest and Now Fastest Growing Recreational Activities

Washington, DC — As November brings political change to Washington, D.C., another positive move in the Capitol District will be occurring that will forever rearrange the landscape of how recreational cycling and physical fitness is viewed. On November 13, CycleLife USA, the first lifestyle community dedicated to support and enrich the individual and the collective healthy lifestyle that the simple act of riding a bicycle inspires, will open its doors.

CycleLife is a 2-story, 12,000 square foot facility on the shore of the Potomac River in the historic Georgetown area of Washington D.C. which brings under one roof the most complete array of services, equipment and amenities ever put together, and delivers them to cyclists with a level of customer service that is closer to a luxury European resort than a Main Street bike store. While some major bicycle retailers in America have broadened their offerings and offer more than simple retail, no facility comes close to offering what is the heart of CycleLife: Best-in-class equipment and apparel; professional-quality maintenance and service; computer-aided fitting, fitness testing, training and coaching; a broad range of classes, rides, seminars and advocacy activities; and a completely unique, membership program that combines social activity, creature comforts and personal service second to none.

Coming! The Perfect Bike Shop in the Middle of Cycling Paradise

Cyclists from Southern California and all over the world visit the Palos Verdes Peninsula area to enjoy the great roads and trails and the amazing ocean views. PV Bicycle Center now adds another great reason to visit this part of LA’s South Bay.

The most difficult part of riding a bicycle in the Palos Verdes Peninsula is staying on the road. Not because the roads are poorly paved. They are beautifully groomed and maintained. Not because of irate motorists who don’t want to share with those who are motor-free. PV residents are well known as being at peace with runners, cyclists, and horseback riders. And not even because of the hilly, winding terrain, since most of the roads are wide and well banked. The difficulty comes because your are distracted by the unparalleled vistas and spectacular seaside panoramas, not to mention some of Southern California’s most amazing homes.

Now, adding to this idilic bicycle world is the newest Specialized Concept Store in the US, PV Bicycle Center. Into this extraordinary community comes a cycling store so beyond the ordinary that it is the perfect fit for its environment. The careful design and plan of this retail jewel could only have been accomplished by an artist. In this case a musician who could carefully craft a melody into the chords and rhythms of the concerto that was already in place. Enter Steve Bowen, stage left.
