Sun Valley, ID – SCOTT USA awarded the Addict SL frame up for grabs in the joint Camelbak/Scott “Pick up the Podium” promotion. The winner, Philip Stone of Sonoma, CA, randomly picked up a bottle thrown by the Saunier Duval – Scott team and brought it home to wash and use it. He didn’t notice at first the promo sticker prompting him to register the code on the sticker online to be entered in the contest until his riding partner pointed it out.
“This has been an exciting turn of events, I thought I had just picked up a keepsake from the race, but now I am an owner of a new carbon bike,” remarked Philip. “I was riding an older steel bike, this is going to be a great ride. I can’t wait to build it up.”
“The promotion couldn’t have worked better,” Said Adrian Montgomery of Scott USA. “We helped raise awareness for the new Camelbak product and the winner is a cyclist who will truly use the product. This promotion will start again at the Grand Tours in Europe starting with the Giro d’ Italia in May. Keep an eye out for the Saunier Duval – Scott team and pick up a Podium of your own.”
