On an overcast Saturday morning this past weekend, Campagnolo and Fulcrum North America held their first annual toy drive. While many companies these days are focusing on a lot of political issues (more bike paths, lesser taxes, cheaper production, etc…) Campagnolo/Fulcrum North America decided to focus on what matters most, family and friends.
This year Campagnolo and Fulcrum North America held their first annual toy drive that benefits both The Radys Children Hospital of San Diego and The San Diego Health and Human Services for Foster Children. They successfully collected a room full of toys and will be splitting the donations equally.

The event took place at the Campagnolo/ Fulcrum North American Headquarters in Carlsbad,CA. Despite the forecast of rain, they had a great turn out, cyclists and friends came from all over California. Many bringing bags of toys for the cause. The toy drive was followed by a 30 mile ride down the coast. The turnout was a success, and the team at Campagnolo/Fulcrum North America are already looking towards a bigger event in ’09.
The family at Campagnolo and Fulcrum North America would also like to wish everyone “Happy Holidays!”

I want that Vivitar Telescope in the toy pile!
Thumbs up to Campy for making this happen specially during these tough times.
That’s awesome. No pics of you guys though. WTF?
That’s awesome! Too bad the weather wasn’t so hot….
What was the ride route? I know there is a lot of good riding in the SD area.
The ride was a ton of fun, lots of really cool people and the tailwind home was just awesome.
