First Look – 2011 Blue NorCross Cyclocross Bikes

bluenorcross

Blue Competition Cycles showcased a new line of NorCross bikes at Deer Valley this week. The 2011 Jonathan Page Series of cyclocross bikes. The series starts out with an aluminum NorCross SP. For $1800, you get a SRAM Apex equipped alloy BB30 frame, full carbon fork, a tapered headtube, and a 2″ taller headtube than the other models in the line. If you fancy carbon, for $2400 you can move up to the carbon monocoque frame, again equipped with SRAM Apex. The EX also features the BB30 system, but the geometry is the same as the top of the range SL. The SL is essentially the same bike Jonathan Paige rode to victory last year. It remains mostly unchanged except for a few small upgrades. The full carbon fork now comes with carbon dropouts, BB30 bottom bracket, and a small change to the shelf or lack of at behind the BB to allow for more mud clearance. Watch the video below to hear Chance from Blue run through the lineup. A small portion of every sale of these NorCross bikes will go directly to Jonathan Page to help fund his european campaign.
